Hi my name is Leah, I am a mother to 4 biological children and 1 step daughter. My partner and I have raised 3 children together, 2 are biologically mine and 1 is biologically his, and I have twins who have been adopted. 
Here I will tell my story of why I chose adoption, the hurdles I faced along the way and life since the adoption.
I chose the name 'The Missing Piece' as I feel that my babies will forever be my 'missing piece' and I feel that the experiences I have and the awareness I want to raise regarding adoption, may well be 'the missing piece' that makes all the difference to somebody else's journey.  
The Missing Piece aims to speak up on behalf of people who have experience of the adoption process in some capacity. Whether that be as a child who has been adopted, adoptive parents, those looking to adopt, or birth parents and families of those who have been adopted. 
I offer my adoption story from a unique perspective as a birth parent and I hope to be part of the change that needs to happen in order to support others with similar experiences.
